The Midlands Community College was established in 1981 to provide accessible and affordable quality education for members of our surrounding communities. Since 1999, we have offered an opportunity to Grade 12 learners to upgrade their Mathematics and Physical Science marks so that they could access tertiary educational institutions to study in these fields where our country faces scarce and critical skills shortages. More than 1000 learners have completed the programme. The other main area in which we work is Early Childhood Development where we offer on-site training to ECD practitioners and where we also work in a non-centre based programme to deliver early learning opportunities to disadvantaged children and their families. We endeavour to build and strengthen relationships with all relevant stakeholders, including corporations, government departments and municipalities, state-owned enterprises, local businesses and individuals.
